Arman creates an event.

Arman, this great contemporary artist, has lived in New York for over 40 years. For 2003, after an absence of 20 years from the Riviera galleries, he has agreed to exhibit his works at Artsoum art contemporain - a cultural event not to be missed! It is Soumya Benjeddir, the director of Artsoum, who convinced the artist to stop off a little while in Nice. Their friendly working relationship began in 1997. Then the young gallery owner was already showing beautiful older pieces of his work, in limited editions, such as 'Grain de Beauté', 'Occultée', 'Souple et Soyeuse'. From this meeting with the artist, she developed a passion for the art of the master, becoming an expert in his works, from his first 'Cachets' to his 'Accumulations', from his 'Combustions' to his 'Coupes de Violin' not forgetting his 'Inclusions'.
Today Arman is presenting an exhibition called 'Sans Papiers' where contemporary art lovers will appreciate all the genius and talent of this poet of the New Realism. It is an exceptional show which runs until 20 October. At the same time the gallery is showing the works of the artist Caroline Challan-Belval, along with those of Arman.
